You can permanently delete your goSmash account and all associated data directly from the app. This page explains the process and what data is removed.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the goSmash app on your device.
- Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right).
- Tap the Settings icon (top-right gear icon).
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Read the warning and tap Continue.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- If you signed up with email/password, enter your password to re-authenticate.
- Tap Permanently Delete.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Account profile — name, email, playing level, goals, and preferences
- Match videos — all uploaded video files and thumbnails
- Match analysis — shot detection, technique scores, movement data, and debriefs
- Coach chat history — all conversations with the AI coach
- Practice plans and drills — saved plans, drill history, and progress
- Player statistics — aggregated performance data and milestones
- Firebase authentication record — your login credentials
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no recovery period.
